EduNest Terms and Conditions

Welcome to EduNest. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the EduNest platform ("Service"), operated by Scott Baxter, Sole Trader ("we", "us", or "our"). By using EduNest, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

1. Use of the Service

EduNest provides AI-powered tools for educators, including childminders, teachers, and education professionals. By creating an account or using the platform, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and are legally capable of entering into a binding contract.

2. Accounts and Access

  • Provide accurate information
  • Keep your login credentials secure
  • Notify us of any unauthorised access to your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.

3. Acceptable Use

  • Upload or generate content containing personal data without necessary consent
  • Infringe any laws, third-party rights, or intellectual property
  • Abuse, harass, or impersonate others
  • Disrupt or harm the platform's functionality

4. AI-Generated Content

The platform uses third-party AI services (OpenAI and Claude) to generate content. While we aim to produce high-quality results, you are responsible for reviewing all generated content before use, especially for regulatory or safeguarding purposes.

5. Data Storage

  • Generated content is stored for up to 30 days
  • Prompt data is retained for 28 days to improve performance
  • Personal data (e.g. name, email, phone) is stored securely and in line with our Privacy Policy

You are responsible for downloading or backing up any important content.

6. Payments and Billing

EduNest uses Stripe Checkout for secure billing. All subscriptions, payment methods, and invoices are handled via Stripe.

You are responsible for keeping your payment details up to date. Failure to pay may result in suspension of access.

7. Intellectual Property

All content generated by the user belongs to the user. Platform code, branding, and templates remain the intellectual property of EduNest.

You must not resell or redistribute EduNest tools or outputs commercially without permission.

8. Disclaimer

EduNest is provided "as-is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, accuracy of AI-generated output, or compatibility with specific regulatory frameworks. You agree to use the platform at your own discretion.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect or consequential loss
  • Data loss or corruption
  • Regulatory or compliance issues arising from misuse

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access without notice if you breach these Terms. You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account or by contacting support.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page and, where appropriate, notified by email. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
